How does marijuana work with hepatitis C?

Hepatitis C is considered a viral infection resulting in inflammation of the liver caused by the infection traveling in the blood. Current hepatitis C treatment usually involves two powerful drugs called interferon and ribavirin which have severe adverse side effects such as fatigue, nausea, muscle aches, loss of appetite and depression. It’s possible that cannabis has a positive biomedical effect. Cannabis-consuming patients seem to enjoy relief from symptoms when using medical marijuana (MMJ).
